Energy Directory Transferred view under Sales Station > Contacts
The Energy Directory Transferred view, found under Sales Station, provides a dedicated list of all contacts transferred from Energy Directory, so your team always knows which new contacts are ready for outreach.
Accessing the View
In Sales Station, go to Contacts and select the Energy Directory Transferred view from the view drop-down. This page shows only the contacts that have come over from Energy Directory.
Working with a Contact
Select any contact to open their full detail view. From here, your team can:
- Add notes to keep a record of outreach and conversations.
- Create tasks, for example, sending an email to initiate first contact.
When creating a task, you can:
- Assign it to a sales rep.
- Set a due date.
- Attach it to a deal.
Compliance and the Lock Icon
Energy Directory contacts marked with a lock icon next to their name are provided for individual outreach only, for example, a direct email or a LinkedIn message. These contacts can not be used for bulk communication until intent compliance is confirmed in the software.
Once intent compliance is confirmed, these contacts can be added to bulk communications using the Marketing Station tools for marketing communication purposes. The software automatically tracks this compliance status, so you'll always know when a contact is cleared for bulk outreach through the lock and unlock icon next to the contact's name.
How We Suggest You Use It
When reaching out to a newly transferred Energy Directory contact, personalize the first touch using what you already know about their company:
- Pull relevant details from EnergyIQ about the contact's company operations.
- Reference their current operations directly, rather than sending a generic introduction.
- Lead with the value your service adds to those specific operations.
- Link back to the relevant service reference page on your website so the recipient can explore further on their own.
We recommend sending and tracking these outreach emails through the Outlook or Gmail plugin so that activity is automatically logged against the contact.
