The Deals Report feature gives your team a simple way to view & filter your deals, as well as the power to set up automated email reports that summarize them.
Report Filters
Filters are one of the most important aspects of the Deals Report. There are 10 criteria you can filter by: Name, Account, Close Date, Deal Value, Probability, Priority, Deal Source, Sales Rep, and Stage.
You’ll see the “Filters” toolbar on the left-hand side of your screen. The filters are relatively self-explanatory in terms of setup, but we have a couple of notes and tips to keep in mind when choosing your filter criteria.
1) When filtering by account, you will only be able to select accounts that already have a deal associated with them.
2) When filtering by deal value, make sure you have selected the appropriate type: net or gross.
3) Deal value must be a whole dollar amount, no cents.
4) To launch the filter and see the results, you need to click the blue “Apply” button at the bottom of the “Filters” toolbar.
If you’ve made a filter you plan to use, we suggest saving it for later by clicking the “Save as a new view” button at the bottom of the “All Views” toolbar.
Once clicked, you will be prompted to enter a name for the filter and confirm your save.
You can now access your filter at any time by clicking the dropdown “All Views” arrow next to the page title.
