The tools in Sales Station support day-to-day sales activity, follow-ups, & deal management.
The command base of the Sales Station is its dashboard, which you access by clicking directly on the orange underlined words “Sales Station.”
The Sales Station dashboard gives a quick view of recently viewed accounts, upcoming activities, new notifications, and deals.
You can choose to filter the data by Sales Rep so that you’re only seeing the accounts and deals relevant to you. You can also use this dashboard to search the entire ActiveIQ platform for keywords, such as a contact name, email, or company name.
As the name would suggest, the ‘Recently Viewed Accounts’ column lists accounts in order of which you most recently looked at.
‘Upcoming Activities’ shows your activities in order of due date. You can mark an activity as completed directly in this dashboard or click the Contact or Account to explore details.
‘Notifications’ will show any new notifications, such as contact/account assignments, new traffic activity from your assigned contacts, form fills, file downloads, new surge alerts, new deal assignments, and new activity assignments.
‘Deals’ will show a list of your upcoming deals organized by close date. Clicking the deal name takes you to the account to view additional details. To view all your deals, use the main menu to open your Sales Pipeline. We will explore the Sales Pipeline in more detail in the next section.
