ActiveConversion automatically detects any form filled out on your website. In order for the system to identify contact information from this form fill, the forms need to be mapped.
To see which forms were detected:
- Login to your ActiveConversion account
- Select the "Marketing" tab
- Select "Forms" from the dropdown menu
- Scroll down to "Detected Forms" at the bottom of the screen
If you see the name of the form you're looking to map:
- Click on the name of the form in question
- Click on the Fields tab
- Choose the field "Type" from the dropdown to let the software know which information is which type
- Click "Save Form" at the bottom
If you don't see the name of the form you're looking to map:
- Go to your website
- Fill out the form in question
- The form you filled out should now appear on the Forms page
- Map the form as described above
If you're using the Wordpress contact plugin Ninja Forms, you'll need to install our free Wordpress plugin to connect Ninja Forms to ActiveConversion. You can download it here: http://www.activeconversion.com/ac-nf-ext.zip
If the form still isn't showing up, make sure the page has ActiveConversion code on it, and if so, reach out to support@activeconversion.com so we can further assist.
