Setting a reminder is a useful way to ensure you’re not forgetting or missing leads, and that you’re on top of your game. By setting a reminder in the ActiveConversion software, the assigned sales representative will receive an email reminder early morning on the day of the scheduled activity.
ASSIGNING A REMINDER
- Enter your ActiveConversion account
- Hover over “Sales” and click “Contacts”
- Select a contact by clicking their name - you’ll now be navigated to the “Quick View” contact information. If you want to see the full details, simply click “Full Details” in the right hand corner of the quick view box
- Enter the reminder message in the empty “Notes” section
- Check off the “Set Reminder” option
- Once “Set Reminder” is checked, you can choose which sales representative to assign it to using the drop-down menu, and set a reminder date and time. On the date of the reminder, the selected sales representative will receive an email in the early morning with the note and the time the activity is scheduled to take place
- You can also set an activity type using the drop down menu next to “Set Reminder” and select either “General”, “Call”, or “Email”
- Create the reminder by selecting the green “Add Note”, and it will appear in the contact’s activity details
COMPLETING A REMINDER
When you’ve completed the reminder, you can mark it as complete in a couple of different ways. We’ll show you both ways, in this article.
- Enter your ActiveConversion account
- Hover over “Sales” and click “Contacts”
- Select the contact you want to complete the reminder for and here you will see the Quick View contact details
- Under the activities section, you can select the “Completed” box for the task you want to mark as complete
- Once the task is marked as completed, it remains there marked with the completed check mark but will no longer display on the Visitor Activities screen
You can also mark a task as completed by following the instructions below;
- Enter your ActiveConversion account
- Hover over “Lead Mgmt” and select “Reminders”
- Here you’ll be able to see all the reminder tasks that have been assigned and the details surrounding each reminder
- To complete the task, select the “Completed” box to the right of the activity
- Once the task has been marked as completed, it is automatically removed from the list of reminders
REVIEWING OUTSTANDING REMINDERS
You can also review any existing reminders by navigating to the "Visitor Activities" page and filtering out which sales rep's reminders you want to review.
- Enter your ActiveConversion account
- Hover over “Lead Mgmt” and select “Reminders”
- In the "Reminders" page, there is a drop down menu with a list of all sales representatives, so you can filter out who's reminders you want to review
- By selecting a specific sales rep, you'll be navigated to the reminders associated with only that individual sales rep
- You can also view all sales rep reminders by selecting "All"
